In digital design processes, three-dimensional form is often treated as an empty shell, made to be seen from the outside. The interior of objects, in-between spaces, niches, depth, density, and filigree details remain hidden. To unveil these hidden qualities we used a volumetric design approach: We developed our own architectural elements with individual material properties. We organized point clouds and equipped them with these architectural elements. We created spatial compositions with contrasting qualities such as flatness and depth, figuration and abstraction, Volume and Void.
