They transfigure the past and flee into the old gender roles of the 50s. In doing so, the content plays with a longing for quiet motherhood and a workless country life. 

These women with backgrounds of extreme wealth and mormon values are correlated with conservative right-wing agendas - perform and monetise their lifestyle, propagating it as a simple solution to our patriarchal society.
