The central theme of this semester is the relationship of space and context. This context can be natural or cultural, climatic or topographical, built, planned, thought of, dreamt of, found or remembered. The students are asked to search for the diverse layers of context and develop projects within or opposing their findings. The semester of the first year runs through six experimental actions, making a diverse set of projects of houses and their contexts.
